NATIONAL VOTER’S DAY On 25-01-2019 (Friday), we attended 9 th National Voter’s Day celebration in Government Arts College.   Mr. T. Anbalagan I.A.S (Karur District Collector) was invited as Chief Guests.                 On behalf of National Voter’s day he gave speech about our voting rights on the topic of “No Voter’s to be Left Behind”.   He gave awareness about voting and he also explained how to register through 6 th form.   After his speech they started to distribute prize to all winner who were participate in essay, speech and drawing competition.    I won second prize in essay competition and I feel proud to get prize from our district collector.

SPORT’S MEET Today (28-1-2019), we attended sports meet in karur district play ground.   The function was organized by Servite College of Education for women.   All colleges in karur district participated in this meet.   Firs the function starts with march-fast and then the function starts with 100mts running.               And followed by 100mts they conducted 200mts, 400mts, 800mts, long jump, short put, high jump, javelin throw and finally they conducted relay.   Finally the meet came to an end with prize distribution to the winners. 

GUEST LECTURE             We had a guest lecture on 19-09-2018 in seminar hall.   The guest lecture is on the topic “Empowering the Blossoming Teachers” .   The chief guest was Dr. A. Govindaraju, Retd. Principal of TNPL .   After his introduction he started his lecture with the help of power point presentation.   In his lecture he gave some quality that our blossoming teacher should have.   He also explained how we should react to one mistakes and how we should appreciate to their rewards.             He insists us to develop our reading practice.   Reading is the good teacher which changes the behaviour of every one.  

LEGAL AWARENESS CAMP             On 16-10-2018 (Tuesday) we had a Legal Awareness Camp on “Mentally Ill and Mentally Disabled Person” .   The chief guests are retired Judge and Nancy.   They explained about the trust and the various schemes offer by them like providing special education, scholarship for their studies etc,.                He gave awareness about the Right to Information Act.   And he gave some basic information of act and their purposes.   Nancy mam explained about the problems faced by mentally disabled person and she gave a brief explanation about their trust and how they help them.          

YOGA CLASS             On 19-12-2018 (Wednesday), We had a Yoga Class for one hour in seminar hall.   All our first and second year students attended the class.   Mr. T. Karthikeyan sir handled the class.   He gave instruction how we should breath slowly and he gave a explanation about meditation and its position.   He taught us how to do surya namaskar.   And we learned some basic uses and importance of yoga.
