EQUITAS GURUKUL MATRIC SCHOOL                             We visited Equitas Gurukul Matric School on 27-11-2018.   Sri Priya man principal of Equitas Gurukul gave introduction about their school.   After that we were allowed to visit their students.   Each and every students welcome us with full of cheerfulness.              Each class consist of maximum 30 students, they have two notice board inside their class room in that students can expose their talent like drawings, poem, story.   They have leadership role and each class were divided into two by naming different leaders.               Each class consists of two windows, two lights and two doors for entry and exit.   They have habit chart for each students.   If they excel in their field they were appreciated. ...

National Mathematics Day                        On behalf of Ramanujan’s Birthday , we celebrated National Mathematics Day on Friday (21-12-2018).   We started to celebrate his birthday function in Dr. Radhakrishnan Seminar Hall at 10.00 a.m.   First the function begins with Tamilthai Vazhthu.   Rtn.Er.R. Ramasamy , Founder and Chairman gave presidential address.   Chief Guest was invited from Government Arts College , Prof. A. Sundaram . He gave explanation of maths by giving many examples related to life.   He gave a powerful speech by singing, relating life to many proverbs.   In additional he gave some real life stories and he also says some quality that teachers should have.  The felicitation was given by Mr.K. GUEST LECTURE             We had a guest lecture on the topic of “Bio Diversity It’s Your Life, Protect It” on 19-11-2018.   First the chief guest was honoured and he came from Gandhigram University.              He explained about the meaning of bio diversity and its importance.   He also gave importance to small species and he gave explanation about many species and where it is used.              He presented his lecture with the help of power point presentation and also explained about many plants and their medical uses.   He insists to rescue many plants from danger.   He also explained about many birds.   From his guest lecture we understand many things about small species and the medical use of plants.      

ARTISTIC AND DRAMATIC FESTIVAL             In our college we had Artistic and Dramatic function on 23-11-2018(Friday). First the chief guest and all staff in our college visited our best craft work done by all students in our class.   There we kept many different types of art craft from waste materials like newspaper, plastic bottle, and from waste chart paper etc.,                        They visited all our draft and they gave speech about the drama.   Later we started our programme with our traditional dance Bharatanatyam.   Followed by bharatanatyam we had many dance, group singing, drama.              In this festival, our participation is group singing.   Later we had tea and snacks.   We enjoyed lot in this festival.   And we had a special dancing program...

MATHS CLUB DEBATE On December (06-12-2018) we conducted debate in our maths class.   The topic given to as was                     Ancient Mathematics?         Vs              Modern Mathematics? Our class members were split into two team.   The topic given to us was Ancient Mathematics and the other team have Modern Mathematics.   In this debate we discussed how mathematics plays a role in our day today life.   First we discussed about the history of Ancient Mathematics and we also shared their uses and disadvantages.   On the other side they also shared the uses and disadvantages of Modern Mathematics. WORK SHOP ON PEERAGOGY: SELF ORIENTED PEER LEARNING We attended an International Seminar in M. Kumarasamy College of Education on ( 13-12-18 ).   First they introduced about their college facilities and their principal and correspondence gave a welcome address.   After that the seminar chief guests were introduced.   The first person is from the Ministry of Education MR. CHANDRA KUMAR , he came from malthews and he is working as principal.   The second person is from kerala and he came from the central university of kerala , MR. THIYAGU . The first session was handled by Mr. Chandra Kumar. NATIONAL WORKSHOP ON ENHANCEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL          CAPACITIES ON ICT, DRAMA AND ART IN EDUCATION                 On 01.12.2018(Saturday) we attended seminar in KONGUNADU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION .   We entered college by 8-30 a.m and their infrastructure inspired us a lot.   And our seminar started by 9-30 a.m.   First our seminar started with cultural and we enjoyed their culture.   Next their principal and other staff introduced about themselves and their college facility.                       Dr. R.
