Work Shop on ICT and Art and Drama


NATIONAL WORKSHOP ON ENHANCEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL         CAPACITIES ON ICT, DRAMA AND ART IN EDUCATION

                On 01.12.2018(Saturday) we attended seminar in KONGUNADU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION.  We entered college by 8-30 a.m and their infrastructure inspired us a lot.  And our seminar started by 9-30 a.m.  First our seminar started with cultural and we enjoyed their culture.  Next their principal and other staff introduced about themselves and their college facility.


                      Dr. R. Boopathi sir handed first session.  He taught about critical understanding of ICT and also the usage of technology in education.  He presented his class with the help of power point presentation and he gave some democratic videos of technology.  He also told about the influence of ICT and their impact of ICT.  He also explained about the digital society, pedagogy knowledge, content knowledge and technology knowledge.  He also gave the digital ethics.  We enjoyed and gained a lot information from him.
                     The second session was conducted by Mr. A. Malaikolunthan, Mr. B.S. Karthickeyan and Mr. Prabu.   They explained about the concept in art and drama and how we can express to children in form of education.  They gave the idea of Bommalatam and how we can use in education.
                     They explained about the different types of puppet.  They are listed below
§  Finger puppet
§  Mask puppet
§  Hand puppet
§  Mouth puppet
§  String puppet
§  Socks puppet
§  Shadow puppet
                  They done mime by using the above puppet.  They also teach a lesson by using villu (villu pattu).  By using these items we can bring the students concentration to the concept.  we gained a different experience through them.

In the above picture they explain about stories by using the puppet.


They gave a demonstration class by using the puppet.  They exposes their skills.  And we enjoyed a lot.
